The Treehouse Camp at “Nids des Vosges”resort

In a beautiful woodland, backing onto the Vosges mountains (East of France) near Gérardmer, its famous holiday region provides an ideal setting for year-round lodging, hiking, skiing or just relaxing (see links in our page “Tourism”). Our unique “nests” are also close to the Alsace province, with its picturesque wine route, and well-known towns Colmar and Strasbourg.

The seclusion, peace and quiet of our site offers an intimate atmosphere to "Get away from it all".  Our resort comes with stunning views of the mountainous landscape.

Information about the battles of the second world war (1939/45) is available at the  American memorial and cemetery 25 kms away from Les Nids des Vosges. A place to ponder, and to remember where our soldiers lost their lives.

Lots of Vosgian towns are twinned with American and English cities, such as Bruyères (9 kms away) which is twinned with Honolulu!

The site includes six tree houses:

Our distinguished and unique ecologically built wooden Tree Houses are charming and  fully equipped with kitchens, toilets/bathroom, heating, running water, and electricity. The warm and welcoming unusual design will take you to the world of Peter Pan or Robin Hood … The four largest tree houses have fully equipped bathrooms with  hot showers and all amenities, although the two highest tree houses have ecological dry toilets and a water tank.

Camp facilities also includes a sauna, outdoor “Finnish bath”  as well as indoor showers, toilets and a welcoming camp office “La Maison Blanche” (Have a stay at the White house ! :)

This stunning environment can also offer  a magical, memorable setting for weddings and parties. The whole weekend can be booked for such events allowing enjoyment of extended time with families and friends.

Seminars can also find the right place here, including group and team building activities.  There is a large meeting hall available in the village of Champdray (5 minutes walk away). It is furnished with a stage, electricity and a large adjacent kitchen.

Champdray is a wonderful small French farming village with 170 inhabitants. Here one can  enjoy being close to nature whilst immersing in French life eg: local markets,  mountains with lakes and ski resorts!
